‘ From the Red Centre to the Red Planet: An Australian Role in Mars Exploration’
The Mars Society Australia will be holding its annual conference AMEC 2004 in Adelaide this year, over the weekend of July 31 - August 1. The program will include a range of local and international speakers across both days, covering diverse disciplines including geology, astro-biology, psychology/human factors, biomedicine, engineering and robotics. PRE-CONFERENCE DRINKS Informal pre-conference drinks will be held this Friday evening (30th July) at the Federal Bar & Cafe at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel (ground floor), 125 North Terrace, Adelaide.

TIME: Beginning at 7.30pm with predinner drinks
Cost - $50 per person. It is essential to register for this by
Friday 30th July (see below) to confirm a seat, though a small number of places will be available to registrants on Saturday morning. Standard registration is $95. Mars Society Australia members are eligible for a discounted registration rate of $80, with this rate available to new members who join at registration. A further $15 discount is available to all students or registrants who hold a concession card. Single day registration will also be available to those interested in attending only one day Registration will be available on the morning, though we encourage attendees to register online. |
